Summer Wedding Cocktails

The British weather has been truly glorious this summer and there is no better way to cool your wedding guests down than with a deliciously refreshing cocktail!

Below are some absolute taste sensations which are sure to look divine and quench your thirst on a hot summers day…

Raspberry Mojito

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c. blackberries
handful fresh mint leaves
Juice of 2 limes
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. light rum
Crushed ice
club soda

 

DIRECTIONS
  1. In a small bowl, muddle blackberries. Set aside.
  2. Place mint leaves in bottom of glasses. Divide and spoon blackberry mixture on top.
  3. Add rum, sugar, and lime juice and stir to combine. Top with crushed ice.
  4. Add club soda and garnish with mint leaves and more blackberries.

 

Limeade

INGREDIENTS
2 oz. vodka, preferably Belvedere
3 oz. fresh squeezed lemonade
Mint leaves
Lime slices, for garnish

 

DIRECTIONS
  1. Shake vodka and lemonade. Toss with mint leaves. Pour into a Collins glass and garnish with lime slices.

 

Strawberry Spritz

INGREDIENTS
1 oz. vodka, preferably Belvedere
1.5 oz. Fragola strawberry liqueur
1 dash prosecco
Rosemary sprig
Strawberry slices, for garnish

 

DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine vodka and Fragola into a cocktail shaker, shake, and then strain. Pour into collins glass over ice.
  2. Top with a splash of prosecco and garnish with strawberries and fresh rosemary.

 

 Gin & Pomegranate Cooler

INGREDIENTS
2 oz. high-quality gin
1.5 oz. homemade lemonade or lemon soda
2 springs thyme
Fresh pomegranate
Lemon and lime slices, for garnish

 

DIRECTIONS
  1. Pour gin and lemonade into a small tumbler filled with ice cubes.
  2. Fold in tyhme sprigs slightly teared.
  3. Add pomegranate, lemon, lime and gently stir all the ingredients together.
